jenks 0 Posted October 4, 2006 Hmm im thinking if it was done right using the right paint as furkz says it could be done but sounds like one for the pros! What colours they do Furkz? Cheers
woody 0 Posted October 5, 2006 When i changed my dash from an early to a late the only complete dash i could get was a grey one. I found a company in christcurch who sprayed it all for £70 They specialise in changing factory setup seats dash and door panels into whatever colours customers wanted. They were located on the business park in christchurch near Mc D's. I was well pleased with the result
Furkz 0 Posted October 5, 2006 they only do grey and black unfortunately... just clean it and spray its a piece of piss its flexible so wont crack either... really cant go wrong its abt a tenner too

Jim Bowen 1 Posted October 6, 2006  looks quite good in certain cars, although it can look like the fur off a nodding dog sometimes
dinkus 10 Posted October 6, 2006 Ohh you said flocked... ;)
Paulr1980 0 Posted October 6, 2006 You can buy flocking kits.. I was going to do something like this, very evo looking but flocking kits are expensive and you would need looads. I think it'd look great though
Andy665 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Never seen a car other than F40's where flocking looks appropriate
Supercharged 2 Posted October 6, 2006 ..and flocking never lasts and you get bits coming off everywhere
jenks 0 Posted October 9, 2006 erm wats flocking?
Son of a Beesting 0 Posted October 9, 2006 Flocking is the kind of stuff race cars have on the dash to stop glare from the sun. Very hard to do correctly as you have to a PERFECTLY smooth finish. If its done correctly it shoudnt come off but then it costs lots and lots, but I think it looks pretty understated and cool. Do it show us the results! dinkus 10 Posted October 9, 2006 looks like fur you basically cover the surface in glue, electrify it and waft a load of tiny hairs at it, which stick end-on to the glue. Get it right and it's like fur, get it wrong and it's like a bog brush
