gsbellew 0 Posted October 12, 2006 You will have to take the bolt out, its 17mm.

dinkus 10 Posted October 12, 2006 Just remember to put it back again when you're done! And to hook the other end of the seatbelt mounting rail into the chassis.
toon vw 0 Posted October 12, 2006 well if i forget i'm sure the kids will pop into the front to remind me.....probably at about 70mph
dinkus 10 Posted October 12, 2006 Oop yeah sorry - I'm talking about the front seatbelt mount down by the bottom of the B-pillar, which I don't think you have to take off to get the rear door card off. So uh ignore above comment  (apart from the bit about remembering to put the bolt back on  )
toon vw 0 Posted October 12, 2006 yeah, you had me a bit confused there as i got most of the rear card off already with no probs apart from that 1 bolt, but then again it don't take much to confuse me :silly:

dinkus 10 Posted October 12, 2006 Just wait til you try and put it back on and all the black plastic clips bend instead of going in the holes
toon vw 0 Posted October 12, 2006 oh i can't wait.... by the way, diversifying slighly i know but once i have all my old interior out is it just a skip job or is there any call for them, greyearlier style vr stuff all seats & 4 door cards all in decent nick? dinkus 10 Posted October 13, 2006 If you've got a complete set in good nick then someone may want it - sometimes they sell, sometimes they don't. They seem to go for around £50-£100 mark if/when they do sell tho.
