Alloy wheel refurber in the north west?

Recommended Posts

I'm having difficulty finding a place the will blast paint/corrosion off my rims and slap some new paint on them for a reasonable sum.

I'm not fussed about having the "slight" curbing filled or an immaculate finish so thought of ringing powder coaters, blasters etc, however I'm not having much luck.

The best I could find is £160 from a wheel place in Blackpool, I was hoping to pay less than £100.

Anyone had this done cheapy in the North West?

There is also a mobile one near by, mey even be the same place. I'll get details tomorrow.

Also, my mate used one in Blackpool, or Preston, for £45 per wheel mate.

Where in NW are you?

To be honest guys, I'm not looking for an anywhere near mint finish.

I just want the damn things to hold air properly again and not look quite so scabby!

Hence why i was after a "cheap" service.

Cheers for all the leads.

Top Marques in Stoke will do a proper job (that's who I've used loads)

Or: Greenspeed powdercoaters in Macclesfield will get 'em shot blasted and then re-coat 'em in any colour you wish for reasonable money... used them for all my engine powdercoating... 8)
