herisites 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Straight swap yeah, take the old ones out, change the LED polarised film and colour, new dials in, then just run the inverter from the headlight switch to the illuminated dials, and Robert is your fathers brother! So how longs that take then, few hours or not even that? They certainly look good, much more modern looking. My mums asked me for ideas for a xmas present and i think i have just made up my mind  Rob.
GIXXERUK 0 Posted November 24, 2006 i run an ignition controlled live to the leds otherwise they are difficult to see in the day and they look better prob takes a morning being careful but the good thing is that i you rip the dash pod out and take it in doors :-) no need for the steering wheel to come off just tilt it down and the pod unplugs and comes out
Guest Posted November 24, 2006 I toyed with the idea of running them off the ignition, but didn't in the end. I could change them over (now I have the tools) in daylight in less than a hour
GIXXERUK 0 Posted November 24, 2006 its doddle to get the dash out , prob takes 10 mins but not the first time you do it :-)

mgbv8mike 0 Posted November 25, 2006 ItalVolante Picked it up on E Bay from a guy who did not know what it was !! 320mm but they have an off-set hub which means that the wheel is nice and clear of your legs in the lowest position....but you can still see the dials. Stick of Blackpool rock if you can identify the horn push.....It's off the first car I ever owned.

TomD 0 Posted December 9, 2006 Here's mine....picked it up on ebay with a honda boss dead cheap. The one on the car when I bought it was awful! Its nice, simple, good size, chunky, and its not quite round, so you can see the dials perfectly.
