VRTrickster 0 Posted November 27, 2006 Right I had my screen replaced a couple of years ago now, and it was replaced with an after market Pilkington. It was also fitted with a horrible universal rubber seal, that was hanging off in till I got the cowboy back! The trouble is now I want to put a genuine Sekurit screen, and proper seal back in. I need to Know everything I need to replace to fit the original type back in? Will I just need the outer rubber seal,as the screen comes with the rest shown on ETKA? Can anyone help me on this one? Supercharged 2 Posted November 27, 2006 Yeah - Screen comes with the 3 black bits of trim at the bottom... You will also need the white clips that they go into i think - 11 all together... Seal is about £28 You may also need some spacer things but the glass fitter should have these... Best to get it all done on insurance really... (ie buy a hammer and a punch)

joebloggsVR69 0 Posted November 29, 2006 How come you're buying the rubber strips/mouldings? :? Surely this would also be covered by your insurance...?
VRTrickster 0 Posted November 29, 2006 Its that some of the mouldings are reused, and mine have been thrown away by the cowboy! I suppose I could let the screen company know that it needs all the seals replacing, but I dont know how far they will go ?
dinkus 10 Posted November 29, 2006 If you go somewhere decent like RAC or Autowindscreens, they should have all the parts necessary - if not, then they'll be able to get hold of them...
