Could somebody blessed with the electronic query God of ETKA, check to see if the subframe from a 16v GTi Mk 2 Golf is the same as that for a 16v Corrado? Mucho appreciado. Move if needed Mods. davidwort 0 Posted November 29, 2006 Erm... not go ETKA to hand but I think this is wrong, the Chassis is different (Corrado is 53i) and the subframe is Corrado specific... what's different I don't know, but they're not the same part number, I do know that the 16v subframe has horse shoe shaped locators for the rear wishbone bush location and the mk2's used a sleeve on the wishbone bolts, but I don't know if that's all.
