Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 14, 2003 I haven't seen this anywhere yet, so tell me, blessed be thou, which engine charges this four-wheeled beast? How can anyone take that seriously? Do you really think a Corrado would have a rotary engine in it, or an Otto, what ever that may be? If you want a sensible answer, be less cryptic with your query. G60Jet 1 Posted October 14, 2003 but a wankel is a four stroke otto two, just the piston(s) are of a completely different configuration. isn't it????? i.e rotatry piston
munkay 0 Posted October 14, 2003 The wankel has four phases in it's combustion cycle too so yeah its an Otto Cycle engine as well. Intake - compression - power - and exhaust Unlike the normal piston engine, the fuel air mixture is swept along, so the four phases take place in different areas of the engine. :)
