Snow - it cxleans at it falls...

Recommended Posts

In the event that you keep your C outside, but have other means of transport in the current inclement weather (traction control and a LSD worked well, but the cars/vans blocking the road lacked these), have you noticed how good snow is at removing dirt from paintwork?

I hadn't cleaned the VR6 since December and it was looking a bit grubby, but then the snow came at it's now gleaming... :D

Does anyone know what type of weather is needed to clean brake dust off alloys??? :?:

I remember years ago when I had my XR4i,the RS alloys I had on were pretty grubby(combo of brake dust and dried salt) couldn't get them washed for a cpl of weeks, but when I did they came up as new and this was before I discovered wonderwheels

Hah.. mine isn't looking so good at the minute after the last few days of snow ploughing. When I got home this evening the headlights were barely braking through the mucky snow welded to the front (was all wedged in the grille, headlight surrounds, etc) and the number plate was coated by a 1/2 inch thick layer too!! It was grim!

Still.. the car is tucked up nice and safe in the garage to thaw out now :)
