changing the cams in 2lt 16 for 1.8 cams

hi all, bascially would lik sum general advice, am in the process of taking my 1.8 16v lump out nd replacin it with a 2lt 16v and am tempted to put the old 1.8 cams in as i believe they r lik the sports cams for a 2lt, jst wonderd if this is ture and any problems this might cause? cheers for any help

Swapping the inlet cam from a KR into a 9a is a common, cheap and stealthy mod. So yes this is true (do a search and look in the knowledge base as its been covered a few times before) and no it shouldn't cause any problems.

Yes, just swap the inlet cam over. You could take one of the left over exhaust cams and have it modified to use as an inlet cam for even more power, a very popular conversion in the 80's and early nineties.
