Lupo GTI Aero Wipers The Same As Non-GTI Lupo Wipers?

Title says it all really.

Can I get away with using 2 driver side wipers from a non-GTI Lupo?

 

Now before anyone mentions search, that has been done but alas I am unable to find out if using the Non-GTI ones will work as well as the GTI ones.

I dont think i specified a model of Lupo when i purchased mine from the dealers so i reckon theyre all the same....

the non gtis dont use aero blades do they?

Most new VWs use aeros now I think.

 

There is also a link on the Group Buy section, so why not just buy those anyway?

Real stupid question now, so the Aeros, are they the wipers with the "spoilers" on them?

Also, is 1999 "new"?

i think 99 would be too early, you need a model from around 2002 onwards..

Not really, the wipers themselves are shaped like "spoilers".
