G60 - Just need peace of mind...Darren @ G-werks?

Recommended Posts

Im sick of thinking that there's something not quite right with the G60... :( And i want to just get it looked at and sorted for good/peace of mind.

At the moment,it tends to backfire/splutter when hitting the throttle. And the timing mark on the crank pully/flywheel jumps forwards and backwards when trying to set it up...

Sommet just aint right, and i wanna know what it is

I want someone who can basically do a few checks such as make sure the ecu is fine...and stick a timing light on it to tell me what they think...If anything is wrong, then obviously i will want it sorting.

G-werks is a hell of a long way from me...is there anyone who could have a look at it for me for up north? And if not,Darren? Could you manage a look?

Cheers,Neil. :)

The Timing procedure on a G60 is the same as any Digifant VW. Any good specialist in your area should be able to check this out for you to put your mind at rest.

Darren, problem is...ive had people look at it before (independant garage owner, and a m8 who worked at vw...has his own garage) and they just scratch their heads...Cant understand why the timing is erratic :(
