Yandards 0 Posted April 10, 2007 As per the title, with loads of pics and should be easy enough for anyone to have a go at. I would recommend doing it if you have not before you end up with a puddle in your carpets. Scuttle Seal
Jim 2 Posted April 10, 2007 Nice post mate. It is indeed a simple job as even i've even managed to do this myself but worth doing to rule it out as a future cause of "water in the footwell" :)
daves16v 1 Posted April 10, 2007 First job I did on my valver, after having the problem on my old valver - nice cheap fix.

jonnyboyo 0 Posted April 11, 2007 Nice one Yandards. A 'how to' that even i can follow! This seal will explain why my heater motor has always made strange noises lol!
Supercharged 2 Posted April 11, 2007 Good write up Sir - that pollen filter is bl00dy expensive now - I paid £12.99 for mine at a show - may be worth people trying Halfords as they are a Jetex dealer...
jonnyboyo 0 Posted April 20, 2007 Just ordered all the parts (minus pollen filter) as listed by Yan for the princely sum of £7.36p from Cardiff VW. Well happy with that. Unfortunately have to be specially ordered from German land :(
jonnyboyo 0 Posted April 23, 2007 Just received a call from Cardiff VW. The seal and clips have arrived :) but the inserts are on back order, 7-10 days  I wanna get stuck in lol!
Yandards 0 Posted November 3, 2007 BIt of winter bumpage. Jetex now have the pollen filters back in stock after 6 months so it is worth getting out there now before it gets too cold and getting the seal changed before you get a puddle in your passenger footwell.
