cigarette lighter not working

do i just buy a new one.. ? no matter what i plug in no life.. ive checked fuses...

 

need it working for my sat nav..

 

anyone know best thing to do ? or have one for sale ?

is that the back of the unit ? i dont need the actual cigarette lighter bit just the part it plugs into.. ?

 

so i can charge my sat nav while in the car...

 

i guess ill have to go down the stealers.. it breaks my heart giving them cash..

You can only get the whole unit from the dealers. Yeah it's not a good feeling walking away from the stealers after giving them your hard earned cash.

Same problem at the minute. Need it for phone / sat nav. It has been loose from day one but is now not working. Not fuse as interior light etc is working. Anyone know how much they are for late rado? Any for sale?

Just get one from a scrappy - you'll probably get it for pence - the old one will just push out - push the new one in - job done.

 

Get one from almost any vag car circa 1990-2000 (take the old one to check the size/plugs)

is it that one in the link? says every other model except corrado so just checking. Just seen it is in the corrado section so ignore me. Wouldn't mind a new housing though (cos the catch has snapped) but could just tape it in.
