Toad 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Having been fiddling with the corrado for the last few days, I've left a plethora of oily fingerprints over the bonnet, wings, roof, doors etc. Washing it didn't remove them, whats the best option now? Cheers Tom
Supercharged 2 Posted June 16, 2007 Clay I reckon but Nathan may have a better idea... Not sure if TFR has degreasing properties?

Riley 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Liberally stick some meguiars paint cleaner on the spots (a nice lump) ...let it sit there for a minute and then spread/rub in straight lines over it with a microfibre/foam applicator. Let it just start hazing (not totally dry) and then remove with a good microfibre cloth. It may stain, and look obvious compared to the rest of the paint...but a few goings over the whole car with the paint cleaner should bring it all back up. Neil. gsbellew 0 Posted June 16, 2007 Spirit wipe / de-greasing panel wipe as used prior to painting in a body shop. That should disolve it without affecting the paint and allow you to wipe it off, or you could always just use a drop of petrol on a cloth, that should do it too.
