Engine options for a corrado :)

Recommended Posts

Ok I was just day dreaming a bit here.....

1. What about a rear wheel drive corrado for the track (not road legal) - can it be done? I'm guessing yes.

2. What about a rear engined corrado? (this question probably should have been first).

3. So assuming you're going to make a rear engined, rear wheel drive rado for the track only, could you pretty much use any engine? V8 for instance?

What engine would you use?

Would a rear engined, rear drive rado be horribly unbalanced, or a complete monster that would make you grin like a loon? :)

I'm sure there's a convertible Corrado about somewhere that's rear-engine, rear-wheel drive.

But it begs the question of why? If you're going for something unique, then cool - knock your socks off. But if you're doing it to be a track weapon, then you'll be far better off getting a proper track car...

Yeah I totally agree mate. I just honestly think I can't sell the old girl completely, so was thinking of a long-term track project.

The ultimate goal is fun - a tool. I'm not after lap times or anything. Unique is good too. It's a dub. Etc
