G60Jet 1 Posted November 5, 2003 My Zorst on my g60 has split at the middle box, basically the pipe has fractured, what i want to know is anyone running a G60 supersrint exhaust woth the middle box out i.e de-cat silencer - mid pipe - axel pipe (instead of box) and the rear box basically relacing part 886503 with 886513? i think it may make it a bit loud anyone any ideas gonna try and get the box replaced under warrenty :? Adam Darby 0 Posted November 5, 2003 wont it fail an MOT if you take the cat off or do you not drive it on the road. if you do a cheap option is just to get it welded.
andycowuk 0 Posted November 5, 2003 I think I have got both (in the boot) I have a long stainles pipe and a short one. I will look........ If I do have both I will be running the pipe not the cat replacement box.

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 5, 2003 If you substitute a SS box for one of their link pipes, it does become very loud. As a rule of thumb with SuperSprint, if the car has 3 boxes as standard, a link pipe replacing one of them is fine but if the car only has 2 boxes as standard, then losing one basically doubles the noise, maybe more.
