barker44 0 Posted September 13, 2007 hi guys i have a 1995 m reg corrado 2ltr 16v (9a), dont know much bout these engines unfortunately what could be the problem heard that it could be the isv (what is this and where) can you disconnect this and it run ok as dont fancy spending £100+ or the landa sensor, or ecu relay and which one is it, anything else, im rather lost at this junction Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Crasher 3 Posted September 13, 2007 The sole control of idle air on the 9A is via the ISV (unlike a KR which has an air bypass) so if you disconnect it, it will stall anyway. The management system may just need setting up so a fault code read and a set up by someone who knows 9A's and has the kit /info to set them up would be a good investment.
