vwdeviant 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Really liking this... hope to maybe see it over here one day? Only one question.. how the hell did you get the mix for the IROC green?
Dec 1 Posted October 30, 2007 Isn't the green used on the IROC actually an original MK1 Scirocco colour though?
Autotune 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Really liking this... hope to maybe see it over here one day? Only one question.. how the hell did you get the mix for the IROC green? I work as a painter, and uses Standox car paint. I have some good contacts at DuPoint performance coatings that could give me the mixcode. This colour is NOT the same as the colour on the Scirocco in the picture. Totaly different mixing codes. The colour on the IROC is developed from the original colour for the Scirocco. Sorry if some words came up wrong, but english is not my spoken languish.

jezzaG60 0 Posted January 1, 2008 Looking good. Quick question for you...... Where did you get the panel to repair the battery tray area??
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted January 2, 2008 IIRC, you can get the repair panel directly from VW dealers mate.
Autotune 0 Posted January 3, 2008 Thanks for all nice feedback. The wheels are AEZ Paron 9x16 ET15. The battery tray panel came from the VW dealer. I will post some new pictures soon, as i am doing some changes to the engine.
jeffreyp29 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Impressive job mate!! I used to restore old "yank tanks" here in the states so I totally understand the amount of work that it takes to get an abused car to that standard.. Good Job!!
