9A 16v temperature sensor?

Hey all,

 

I have a KR head on a 9A block. The problem is, the KR head seems to have 3 temp sensors in it and I only have one connector. Can anyone confirm the one I should have to get a 9A running nice (it's running really rich atm)?

You take out the lower rear sensor and replace it with the specific coolant temp sender from the 9A head. You keep the front lower one from either the KR or 9A for the dash gauge and put the 9A M10x1 hex cap head bungs in the upper two holes or leave the sensors in there but not connected.

Aha, I have the topmost one connected on mine. Any ideas on the part number/name as when I called up VW they weren't sure either way what I needed?
