is it a gloss finish? I used some high temp paint on the engine cover (plastic) and it shows up marks far too easily, i wonder if yours is the same stuff?

the paint is a gloss finish but is quite thick

i only used it on the manifold and the paint on the covers is from arasol i wet and dried the covers to smooth them off to get a flat serface

ok all not much has been done to the car over the chilly xmas months

for one not much cash as its end of tax year time (all you other self employed people know what i mean ) and xmas and also its to dam cold brrrrrrr

anyway i have one little bit of exitment with the project today i did a 300 mile trip to pick up these bad boys01022008256.jpg[/attachment:1bmrir3v]

full set rear and front and some door card with the bose upgrades all though im not to sure what to do with them yet

seats are a1 condition no rips or ware a bargain at the handsome sum of £250 + van hire to go to yovel to get them but hey

so the next few weeks will be spent jigging things about to get them in and then its off to paint :-)

i have been loking for guides on here on fitment but there is no difinitive guide also am trying to work out the heated part to if anyone has achived this let us know

well i have had a weekend off from work s i thought id tackle the interior for the car

i know how the front seats will fit so turned my attention to the rears

we found it not to be to difficault

we used the arms at the side of the seats to mount to the original mount points and fabricated a plate for the centre to mount from one of the audi plates

its more clear with pictures now they are all fitted and look ok just need to sort out a fitment to hold the tops in and something to fill in the gap at the top corners

and i still have the ability to fold the seats down
