Doms 1.8 16v

Hey guys,

 

ive had my 1.8 for about 6 months now, havnt done anything exept maintanence yet. so heres a couple of pics.

before i got it , the roof had been desemed (which means if u have the window open with water on the roof it all runs in the window haha), resprayed in the last few years (the paint is good, but seems a little thin maybe) 100k on the clocks but had the engine replaced at about 70k, dnt knw why, but i have the paperwork and bills for about £2k :S.

 

anyway plans are to leave the bodywork all the same, i dnt think u cant improve the looks of the body rly (well maybe a grill change too), guess il just be getting coilovers, ARBs, new ehxaust system and then if i ever have any money again after that.. il be looking for power gains in the engin :)

First thing you'll do after coilies will be fit a new splitter be cause as soon as that painted one comes anywhere near tarmac....

 

Looks a decent car though.. personally not a fan of the filled roof though... Oh and the wheels are a bit.. hmm 90's? I swapped a set of those for G60 BBS many years ago!

 

But all my personal so please don't take to heart...

looks like a v tidy valver, cant say im a fan of the splitter being colour coded tho,

Very nice valver. Unsure about the front splitter, as the deviant says, it'll soon look tatty once you've lowered it and it scrapes the ground at every opportunity... :(

well took me a working day (when we didnt have anything t do at work XD) was just somthing to fill the time, but would be happy to give it ago, i still get odd hours spare i could use :)

ok buddy will have a look for a gd photo of it, sounds like hard work. if you do it then no rush buddy. in return if you havnt got a bentley manul for your rado then ill copy it onto cd for you and drop it in the post.....
