Yandards 0 Posted November 4, 2007 Nope. IIRC all other models have the fan control run on system as part of the fuse board via a relay setup.

IIRC all other models have the fan control run on system as part of the fuse board via a relay setup. that what i thought...according to autodata its number 15 relay (pic below) but where that is meant to be is a fuse which seems to be for the electric windows totally lost now :(
DanVW 0 Posted November 4, 2007 Whats the exact problem with your cooling? Is the fan not working or just slow? Could be loads of things, give us a bit more info :-)

DanVW 0 Posted November 4, 2007 Ahh  sorry and have to admit I didnt read through the whole thing but I did notice that the problem got worse on replacing the Thermostat? If so that makes sence as I replaced mine with a new one from VW and on the drive home I got 130 degrees on the oil  Ended up putting the old one back in as there was nothing wrong with it apart from age. easypops 8 Posted November 4, 2007 well i have not yet replaced the thermostat....but i am sick of not having it running so its off to the garage in the morning for them to fit new thermostat, water pump , coolant temp sensor ....to go with the new thermo fan switch already in place fingers crossed it will be ok after that  but it is a corrado......so we'll wait and see anything else i should replace while i'm at it ?
