idle problem

Hi all

 

have a bit of a problem with my G60, the other week a snapped a bolt on the front engine mount which knocked my coil pack and the car cut out so we plugged it back in, but now the car revs funny, when i turn the car on it goes up to 2000rpm then dies down to about 1000 but goes up and down, i notice the coil pack has a crack in it would that cause this

 

If not what could it be

 

any help would be great

is the MAP hose that goes from the throttle body to the ecu in good shape and still connected etc?

yep changed that not long ago, also changed lambda sensor not long ago

Er coil pack?

 

G60s dont have a coil pack.

 

Did you hit the ignition coil on the bulkhead?

 

If so you will probably need a new ignition coil as this will effect the spark quality if it is damaged.

yeah when the engine mount snapped it got crushed and all plugs came off it to,

I'd say that'll definitely need replacing.

well mate of mine works down vw sorted me out £18 later
