kuipers23 0 Posted November 27, 2007 Whilst doing my bit for UK farming by culling badgers I cracked the front splitter on my corrado. My question is. Do you have to replace the whole front bumber or can you detach the splitter underneath? Does anyone know where to get replacement splitters from? (by the way I don't think the proposed badger cull is a good idea.)
Bojmobile 0 Posted November 27, 2007 Do GSF not do them?
Goldie 2 Posted November 27, 2007 The bottom splitter can indeed be changed on its own.. The age of your car will determine which one you need, there are 50mm and 90mm versions, the small one is about 50 quid and the big one about 95 quid new, just buy second hand is my advice... Toad 0 Posted November 27, 2007 There are 5 or 6 10mm bolts along the front, and 2 screws/bolts on either side. It's a bit fiddly to do though... Can't remember where to get them from though. You're bloody lucky that you only broke that on the badger!

kuipers23 0 Posted November 27, 2007 Can't find any where on the web which sell them! Any suggestions. Luckily I was not going fast and he went straight under the middle of the car. Managed to avoid the wheels. He ran straight off. Tough little buggers. Wish the front splitter was!
Dec 1 Posted November 27, 2007 afaik GPC sell them You'll have to phone them up though as their website is useless and they never respond to emails! :?
kuipers23 0 Posted November 27, 2007 Thanks! I'll give them a call. On last question. Is the 1994 model 50mm or 90mm. I guess this is the depth of the splitter. I will measure it when I get home. Thanks again!
Dec 1 Posted November 27, 2007 94 should be a late spec (50mm) splitter.
CazzaVR 0 Posted November 27, 2007 GPC do sell them, cheaper than anyone else too. Only prob is, Parcelforce recently put their delivery charges up to a minimum of £15 on anything over 5ft in length. Once packaged up, the splitter is this length :( I found it cheaper to get mine from my local stealer. The guys at GPC were a little peed off about this as it's basically killed all their splitter sales, and they used to shift quite a few.
