Electric windows

Recommended Posts

Just a thought, doesn't bother mwe too much but does does anyone else have the problem whereby they can't operate both electric windows at the same time? Or is that normal? Doesn't make sense that.

I can't close my windows at the same time either. Also some cars on here can close the windows with one-touch ...I can't do that either :( ...ah well, at least they're still working :)

Yeah my early VR works both windows one-touch up and down. So I'm not sure what C's have this option. Might have made more sense if mine was a later model.

The bottom line on the windows is this (according to the 1994 manual):-

Passenger side - One touch lowering only.

Driver's side - One touch lowering and lifting.

Siamiesed fuse prevents both windows operating simultaneously. If both window switches are pressed together, one window will lower fully, then the other immediately after.

Windows remain active for up to one hour after engine is switched off.
