Snapped seat 'thingy'!!

Recommended Posts

I can't for the life of me think what these are called!!! I have snapped the little handle on the upright part of the drivers seat that pulls the seat forward to allow passengers in and out of the rear of my Corrado. Can anyone tell what they are called and where do I get them from. I've tried GSF but not knowing what they are called is a real problem.

Thanks :)

I'd hazard a guess at "seat back release lever" or some such.

If not just explain to the parts desk at your local stealers. They'll know what you mean...

HTH :D

the reason the rado ones are so long is that they are meant to hold the seatbelt forward making it easier to reach, its definately worth getting the genuine vw ones as i had some pattern ones from one of the shows and they both snapped within a month and fitted badly.

Another option is to fit these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PORSCHE-911-964-993-924-944-928-SEAT-RELEASE-KNOB-SET_W0QQitemZ370013609937QQihZ024QQcategoryZ10408QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Look a lot tidier than the standard rado ones IMO

Oh and soz for the big link :o

They look exactly like the ones you get on Corrado Recaros and cost that much from the dealer...
