vwchick 0 Posted February 5, 2008 HI ya any advise on the best car cover to get, i only drive my car weekends and the local bird population has decided to sit in the trees above my car, god knows what they are eating but have to get the jet wash on it to remove and its purple  cheers
Yandards 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Humn, I still would not use one unless its an inflatable type one. Look at Carcoon for more info. I did have an expensive car cover designed to be breathable etc for outdoor use and it made a right mess of the car through condensation etc.
vwchick 0 Posted February 5, 2008 Cheers for that Was wondering about the damage to the car with a cover. only other thing is to do is shot the bird (only joking) may be cut the trees back a bit.
dukest 0 Posted February 5, 2008 tyvek medium these are the ones normally recommended for C's but its hard to keep the inside clean if you're taking it off when the outside is covered in crap I'd like to use mine more but its also a pain to make sure the car is clean (and then cooled down as well) everytime you cover it.. :? shooting the bird sounds better :)
Jay2 0 Posted February 6, 2008 Got one for the girlfriends car for the winter for overnight frosts, etc. One word of advice after the recent weather, no cover is gale force wind proof!
