superbee 0 Posted March 12, 2008 Hi Folks, i'm new to the forum & new to corrado ownership, i've only had my G60 since just after xmas, currently working my way around it, doing all those niggling little jobs that need doing, i've learnt a lot just from reading the forums on here, don't know many corrado owners down here in Cornwall, although i do see the occasional one around, some good VW specialists down here though (SWG & RK Engineering), hopefully i'll get to know a lot of you through the forums! :) Cheers.... superbee 0 Posted March 12, 2008 Welcome to the site mate :) Nice looking corrado think the wheels look well in that colour on that colour car, what are they They look like TSW Volcano but i may be wrong? Hi Phil, Yep, the wheels are indeed, TSW Volcano's, not long had them fitted, the car is currently at standard ride height, i'd like to lower it but i'm afraid i'd bash the bottom of it on the numerous speed humps around here, does lowering cars make them impractical on anything other than a smooth road? :confused4:
ben16v 0 Posted March 12, 2008 welcome im sure walesy and someone else philk ? use s /d RK for most of his cars sure he`ll be along soon
Philuk 0 Posted March 12, 2008 na lowering to a certain degree doesn't make a car impractical, its when you lower excessivly, which lets be fair alot of people on here want to do!, that things can become unpractical, mine is currently lowered about 40mm and it doenst bottom out on anything *touch wood*. just keep your eye for speed humps and take them slowly if your worried, drive either thru the middle or a side over the bump as to lower the chance of it bottoming out! unless you have speed cliffs around you then you should be fine :)
Traverse 0 Posted March 13, 2008 I feel your pain about lowering. Mine is still stock ride height (give or take a few cm's... 4x4 status FTW!!). I love the way your car's color and the wheel colors compliment each other. What is the paint code on the car? Nice rado and welcome to the forums :)
R1chy99 0 Posted March 13, 2008 Ello I'm in Cornwall, St Awful to be more precise & mine's just been for a trip to RK & they were thoroughly complimentary about it so they're my new friends :) I've got a Dragon Green VR that my girlfriend's using to go to work and back at the minute until her car's sorted so if you see us about give us a wave.... Cheers an' all Rich
Walesy 0 Posted March 13, 2008 The best thing about RKE is that they have a new 16Vg60 courtesy car  Oh, and HAI :camp:
