Best chipping company after AMD, in Scotland!!

Cant bring myself to travel all that way to AMD just to get my car chipped. I live in South West Scotland. Whats the best company after AMD that you guys would recommend. Superchips?? any good? My local VAG dealership is an agent for TD performance. Are they any good at chipping.

Star Performance in Glenrothes, they use amd chips afaik. think its about £250+vat

Which engine are you running. That would make a difference as to who can do you a chip.

Dont think you will get much better than AMD chips. As mentioned StarPerformance are AMD's scottish outlet. Are you planning other mods as it is worthwhile putting an exhaust and free flow filter in as well.

When I got my 8v Corrado done at Star they put it on the rolling road before and after to get a comparison. This was included in the price of approximately £200.

Just out of interest it was running bang on VW claims before and I saw an 8bhp increase with around 10lb/ft increase. This was with a filter change as well.

I've had the AMD chip fitted to my G60 by Star Performance great service, would recomend them to anybody.

Can you jusy turn up on RR days. What is the cost? I was going to go out on the ran dan, but realised I cant, having to house sit! :cry: . Still I need to save some money to help pay off the car!

please bear in mind that the price on sunday is £25 only due to the numbers involved.........if you were to get a dyno-run on any other day its £40+vat IIRC

There will also be no diagnotics or analysis of run at rr day, where as if you pay for a run normally, there will be an amount of optimisation included.
