Storm 0 Posted March 31, 2008 Hi All I'm looking for advice to rebuild my G60 - moocho work and am thinking of the following: SNS chip Charger rebuild Stage 4 toothed belt drive RSR outlet Poss oil cooler -do I need it boost return delete - is it worth it? coilys New brakes 288mm (gottem + I've got the bits for a 5 stud conversion) Golf Mk3 climate control Bum warmers - maybe Simple Ice (got this) BMW z4 seats Repaint in orginal Tornado New Alarm The point is what am I missing? JMC 0 Posted March 31, 2008 Personal experience - don't bother with a toothed belt. I had one and got through 2 belts in a month. One brought the south circular to a standstill at 7PM on my GF's birthday (with her in the car) :shock: . Never again... Stick with a standard belt and fit a 65mm pulley. Another vote for an oil cooler (Mocal) and FMIC - keep an eye out for a Golf G60 one - fit without modification and look standard. Ideally a flowed head as well, and maybe even red tops (although I never needed them). Funnily enough I will have a flowed head available in a couple of weeks (made 212bhp on it) - shameless advert :lol: :lol: Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
