C@R advertise retrimming in their catalogue. There's Snappy Gaitors and other firms/individuals in Cheshire who used to trim for Rolls Royce.

maybe it was just the material ... I want OE quality, or am I expecting too much? I'm just fussy when it comes to leather!

 

Odd Kev, I'm going the same way- but I'm buying a set from abroad and having it shipped across the atlantic. I've reupholstered 3 cars of mine in the past, 2 by hand, and its hard work. In choosing suppliers, look at the quality of hide they keep, and the quality of stitching. Do take your time to choose colour, and also think about the seat fit all over again. You might also want to think about your lumbar and upper back support as well, and experiment with cheap foam before you get them done- it helps to get the seats back giving u a bonus - not just looks.... These bits of foam make a lot of diffeence.

Hi, you can reach Snappy Gaitors on 01270 580730. Don't think they have website though. I got my gearstick gaitor from them, it was very good and only £12. Also just ordered a handbrake gaitor as well for £11. :)

ive given up on a set of electric leather seats for my corrado so it looks like ill be getting mine retrimmed next week :)

Nice one. Would be interested in pics of the finished seats.

 

Leather is on hold for now for me. I don't dislike the cloth, in fact I prefer it to leather in all honesty but if a good set come up for a good price, then I could be tempted as leather looks classier than cloth, and is a good sales advantage :lol:
