cdem 0 Posted May 2, 2008 Im new to this forum, my name Chris im 19 and from Peterborough :) Brought my Corrado at the beginning of April with 118k on the clock for £1415. Has a few rust spots which i plan to sort out in time. She came with 17" alloys, a miltec exhaust system and a polished rocker cover. Future plans hopefully are Kent Cams, 4 branch manifold, remove the front silencer, coilovers, a set of smaller alloys and possibly a full respray. Let me know what you think :)

Valerian 0 Posted May 2, 2008 Ahhhh....Alpine White.....absolutely blinding when polished on a sunny day.
Stuckinthe90s 0 Posted May 2, 2008 Yep white is good, really brings out the crisp lines, just keep it clean & I reckon you should drop it on some G60 steels with quality tyres & also add a touch of negative camber up front. Respectful Sleeper style
Traverse 0 Posted May 2, 2008 I'm a sucker for white cars with black wheels. But lower it. :D
Stryker 0 Posted May 3, 2008 Nice mate, Whats the insurance like? Whos is the 182?
cdem 0 Posted May 3, 2008 Im going to stick my mates coilovers on and g60 steels off his golf gti just to see what its like...if i like it then ill do it. I do like the black wheels though but they are just to big, the drivers side rubs on the inner arch when on full lock to the left. Camber sounds good to me though, ill look into it :) As soon as i can afford a set of coilovers im having them! Its just money atm as im only working part time as im still a student. Insurance is a joke, i have 2 write off's behind me of which one is at fault and the other vandalism, no ncb and im 19..£230 a month! The 182 is my mate Dolby, its pretty smart for a clio lol
Jim 2 Posted May 3, 2008 £230 a month! Christ! You must be dedicated to VW's to spend that much on insurance! White is a cracking colour no doubt about it! The Corrado has always suited the plain / non-metallic colours really well!
cdem 0 Posted May 3, 2008 It turned out cheaper for me to insure than a mk2 golf gti 8v, and that was the other car that i had my eyes on. I was prepared to pay sumit stupid on a group 15 car! Off to take some more pictures tomorrow after ive washed it so will post them up when i get back :)

cdem 0 Posted July 31, 2008 Well ive stripped out the rear ready to re-trim it and ive fitted a rear strut brace :D Also im now running on G60 steels which im hoping to have powdercoated black soon. Coilovers ill be ordering next week. Im thinking of getting a 50mm splitter aswell. as ill be having major issues getting up my driveway. 50mm inlet manifold will be on by the weekend as soon as i get time to nip down to GSF and hopefully ill be getting a K&N filter this week and drilling the airbox.
