Humm, fixed spoiler, boot lock in rear panel, quarter light front windows, MKI GTI-esque side stripes with no rubbing strips, no sunroof, a VERY square looking dash (MKII golf?), no wing mirrors, 3 slat front grille, and polished rim alloys... :?

 

Some nice touches, some not... 8)

 

I wonder if that's the one that they found out about the dodgy hi speed handling in which caused them to put the active spoiler on? :?

Big thread on it - end result = spoiler does not create downforce, but rather prevents uplift by distorting the airflow. Or something along those lines :lol:

 

(if you're interested, search for spoiler and it's called something like 'spoiler doesn't work below freezing'.

lol - that's the problem - it started out as a 'does my spoiler.....' thread and ended up as a 'persuade Kev that the spoiler doesn't create downforce' thread :lol:

Jees that thing aint pretty. It looks like a C from the wing mirrors forward but in a way I suppose it does look a bit 'mk 2 polo hearse'. It also reminds me of the old Reliant 'sports estate' Scimitar GTE!! :shock: Sorry, I'm showing my age now :oops:

At a guess Blown ABT will have supplied the front bumper on their car... They've since stopped doing older stuff and seem to only do stuff for cars that are still available brand new... :?

 

German Ebay's probably your only chance to get hold of one of these now... If they were ever released... :?
