Wompa 0 Posted January 2, 2014 Got something done today. Bought a second hand ac pump, my last one made the bearing want to take suicide to either pay 70+ quid to replace the bearing I bought a second hand pump for 30... Changed also the v-ribbed belt.. I dont know when it was changed last time so better sooner or later. And on top off that I pulled off my 2 year old water pump to change it also when I allready did the belt. Looks like ****... and the new pump have "bigger" fins. We will see if my old "cheapish" pump was the fault in my rather high water temp some times. And one last pic off my pet pidgeon Baltazar. I found him when he fell out off hist nest and his mother was killed by a bigger bird in the factory building im in.

delfinis38 1 Posted January 14, 2015 Haha, cheers man ;) Love the retro bike.... Not sure about that slack chain, thought the chain was meant to go round the front cog, tyres a bit flat.
Wompa 0 Posted January 14, 2015 That is some issues with sitting outside in the elements for 50 odd years ;)

Wompa 0 Posted February 16, 2015 Hmm.. Im planning of giving the car the vacuum operated brake booster from a later Passat. I really hate the electric pump thing! Its worthless and it keeps jerking when I brake.. ONOFFONOFFONOFF... BLARGH! And then I also hope I will sort some of the squichiness in my brakepedal.. I have change to braided hoses but that didnt make so much difference. And my ABS doesnt work..
