MikeVR6 0 Posted December 2, 2003 IIRC There's just the one fuel filter and two pumps. The filter's towards the driverside rear beside one of the pumps. The other fuel pump's in the tank itself. There's some advice on changing the filter here... http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewto ... uel+filter Think the fuel system on all C's is pretty much the same. dr_mat 0 Posted December 2, 2003 Except the VR only has one pump, the big one in the tank...
stevemac 0 Posted December 2, 2003 There is a gauze type filter inside the fuel tank - rarely needs replacing, although maybe a good idea after approx 10 years.
johnxl1s 0 Posted December 2, 2003 thankyou v much, do you think this would cause lack of power? ie- petrol not getting through or i clogged filter.
stevemac 0 Posted December 2, 2003 If damaged, this gauze filter could allow debris to move down the fuel lines & block the main fuel filter. Blocked fuel filter will cause lack of power. I would also check the operation of the secondary fuel pump inside the tank - it will have been submerged in petrol for the last 10 years !! When was the main filter last changed - should be changed at least every 2 years.
