Guest Posted July 5, 2008 Karmann are VW`s chosen Coach builders, they Built ALL the corrado`s at the Osnabruck plant in Germany along side the mk1 golf Cabriolet`s, on the same production line as they made the Original Karmann Ghia air cooled VW`s in the 60`s  so yes they all have Karmann Badges, Corrado on the consul, and the mk1 golfs have it on either wing below the side repeaters and one on the dash  HTH Nick
ProdigalSon 1 Posted July 5, 2008 Yes, all Corrados were built by Karmann and have the badge on the gearstick surround

andy 0 Posted July 5, 2008 It does look like a very nice example, but £5k is hilarious. They were probably sold it as having a rare Karman interior, special edition etc.
Guest Posted July 5, 2008  isnt that the same "rare Karmann corrado with Karmann interior" that was being punted on here a few weeks back? 5k is a bit steep for a normally aspirated C even if it has lows miles, i would expect to pay that for a near mint VR6 one with 80k on it!! or a nice G
loopylindsay 0 Posted July 6, 2008 oops someone doesnt know what they are on about!thats well steep i only paid £1,500 for mine with 59k miles
Traverse 0 Posted July 6, 2008 Also over here the MK3 cabrios have it on the outside of the B pillar.
Guest Posted July 6, 2008  So do "ours" but the mk3 cab is not very well thought of here:lol: mk1 cabs still make virtually the same money or sometimes more than a mk3!
