what is connected to this? pictures inside

can anyone please tell me what this part connects to? its on the disc (filter?) thats on the breather at the back of the rocker cover on a vr. seems as though a slim pipe should connect to this... see pics

It goes to the carbon canister. The pipe should run from the throttle body to that to the canister. Your throttle body seems to be blanked off with a bit of blue pipe, and I guess your carbon can is also gone. Just blank this fitting off too.

No worries. I assumed that it was in a bin in Wiltshire. :)

 

Or could possibly be in a shed in Hampshire :lol:

very strange, only lastnight i noticed that on mine, the very same bit, but has the pipe all connected to it. On mine the pipe just slips on and off with ease, there's no seal there really, i can fix it easy with a clip

 

but wondered if that would of affected the car at all?
