Neil VR6 0 Posted September 22, 2008 I was finally brave enough to have a go at removing some hedgerow scrapage from a friends' girlfriend
Neil VR6 0 Posted September 22, 2008 :( The biggest difference was made to the Suzuki Jimny and I didn't think you lot would want to see a load of pictures of a Japanese biscuit tin!
horney 0 Posted September 22, 2008 You're brave trying it on a friends car before your own! I'd have grabbed a couple of doors from a scrap yard and tried those first. Nick

Neil VR6 0 Posted September 29, 2008 I had a go on the Corrado's bonnet at the weekend and it got pretty much all the spider webs out and the difference it made once I'd applied a layer of Swissol was amazing. It took 3 go's though - is the VW lacquer especially tough? The Suzuki only needed one quick go and it was done?
Andy665 0 Posted September 29, 2008 Neil - Volkswagen paintwork is amongst the hardest paint there is, especially compared to Japanese paint that is generally very soft
