Leonard 0 Posted September 26, 2008 Hi m8 Plenty been discussed on this before. Does it go down smoothly? Wait and see if it goes up and down properly on the move. If not give the whole assembly a clean (again do a search) then if still not working then perhaps new motor (easily checked), control mechanism, or switch. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 26, 2008 Yeah sounds like the usual thing as Leonard says. Especially if it doesn't go up when driving aswell. Get a mate or your Dad to drive it and see? If it is seizing up, you'll want to strip it down and regrease it sharpish because if the motor burns out, you can only buy a replacement as part of the entire spoiler mechanism - at £550+VAT. Why is everything on the Corrado ~ £500+VAT? Sunroof, Spoiler, Engine ECU, ABS ECU, Slam panel, Steering rack.... they're all in the 500 club!
Critical_Mass 10 Posted September 28, 2008 ABS ECU is £500+ VAT!? I thought i needed a new one of these, so i rang the stealers. They quoted me 1100+VAT  :cuckoo:
Toad 0 Posted September 28, 2008 I thought it was the pump that was £1100? I might DeABS my car and sell the bits at this rate!
Valerian 0 Posted September 28, 2008 There are plenty of Corrados being stripped for parts at the moment if you do need a motor.
