I have a mount from dubsport. It looks like a MK2 mount. Ian told me they take 'em apart, do some messing about and weld them back up?

I have had a MK2 non hydraulic mount apart. I filled the holes in the round rubber block with some steel bar and then welded it back up.

It appeared to be pretty solid. As yet though, I have not fitted it to a car, so don't know how stiff it is?

I defo wouldn't use a std Hydraulic one.

For the rear mount i'd recommend getting a golf Rallye one.

it's the same as the early mk2 (Non hydramount) but the componund of the rubber is alot harder. got mine from VAG at £50 somthing...

can get the part number for you if you wish.

Got a Volksport WorldCup front mount which is fanastic. But wasn't cheap.

Your G60 mounts will be better than mk2 diesel mounts.

a New g60 gearbox mount is more than adequate, uprated front mount of your choice, might even be ok with new G60 rear mount, depends how stiff you want it?

Remember, if you uprate more than your front mount, you will feel vibration through the car & have a different clutch feel and that

This might not help but i just got my engine mounts replaced by "Star" to "Vibratech". Apparently they are the best for the G60. Hope you can get them where you need them mate. Just got them replaced since I got my G60 chipped and smaller pulley.
