Calling all Conlog alarm owners

Recommended Posts

I have managed to source a complete brand new Conlog alarm system with the intention of buying it just to replace my broken alarm fob. Seeing as it's brand new I wondered what work is involved in replacing my old Conlog with the new one. Is it simply the case of replacing the alarm ecu's with the new ones or is it more difficult than that?!

I have a Storm which has the immobiliser built into it.

Cheers

Phil

Sorry to drag up an old post.

I have a Conlog Alarm fitted to my VR6. Everything seems to be working ok, but i am wondering whether it is possible to alter the settings?

Currently as soon as the car's ignition is turned off the alarm system locks the car and the full closure system shuts all the windows and sunroof automatically. This is not a major problem, but I am sure one day I am going to get out of the car without taking the key with me.

I have a small leaflet with my car's documents but no detailed instructions.

Can anyone help?

That's odd. Mine only closes and locks everything when you press the button on the remote with the ignition off.

On a kind of related note, if anyone has any spare Conlog remotes with the rubber button in good condition, I would be very interested in them. The buttons on both of mine are falling apart.

Mine sunroof is disconnected at the moment because my conlog alarm likes to automatically open in when it is set..:(

As a note I'm sure i read that the auto closure is a part of the Corrado locking system and not the alarm itself

Thanks Guys, When funds permit I may take it to an alarm specialist to enquire about an alternative system.

Auto close is part of central locking system. Leave a window and sunroof open then close the car using the keys in the door (keep the key turned) and it will close them all.
