Roof Trim, could this let water in?

Recommended Posts

Ive done a search but nothing comes up :confused4: Does anyone know if the black roof trim is just for show?? Mine looks like someone has appllied black sealent to the edges as if to prevent water coming in??? Perhaps this is why my foot well is wet since I have checked most of the other areas..

Just makes the roof gutter look tidy m8.

Someone will probably have cut off the edges of the strips (that disintegrate) and put sealant down the edges to tidy them up.

So no shouldnt be responsible for your leak

SOrry dude, for some reason I thought you meant on the inside of the car :ignore:

As Leonard says, the trim on the exterior wont cause leakage!
