early 2 late bonnet

just a quick one, been offered a late VR6 bonnet, but i got a early c, it should fit right?

Im pretty sure that the later bonnet won't line up just as it should with the early wings/front panel etc...It will physically bolt on though.

b0ll0x :lol: i did write a response last night, but with the server playing up it cant have submitted the message. As Neil said it wont line up and i think the slam panels are different so the pins on the bonnet wont line up correctly with the holes in the slam panel. It will close but the panel gaps will not be right - from experience.

Yup, I had a late bonnet fitted to one of my old early-spec valvers. It didn't look right at all tbh. To get it to fit 'properly', you need: late spec wings, late spec slam panel, late spec headlights + grille etc etc......just not worth it in the end (especially as imho the early bonnet is much better looking than the late :tongue: :lol: )
