mouldy lights

I fitted crystal rear lights to my Corrado 9 months ago but now there is green mould all around the edges of the lenses between the lense and the backing.

Anyone ever found a way to clean them out or should i just bin the damn things :grin:

take them out and blast the edges with a pressure washer. that'll clear them completely. otherwise just use an old toothbrush. best option then is to run some clear silicone round the edge.

yeah mine used to do this - just used the jet wash with them in situ and it always sorted them with out any problems... you could always run some clear silicone around the edges to provent it from happening again!

They're not that bad, especially considering other bits of Corrados which can REALLY be a pain in the donkey! :nono:

The mould is on the inside...round the edges between the lens and the backing.

Do you stick the pressure washer nozzle inside the light then?

No just get round to the side of it, DON'T put it down the inside!!!! :D :D
