GAH Chrome pullies... hate them! Mostly for this reason!

Who did the chrome job on it?

Well, I bought it like it. I am just hppy that she is alive again.

I have just about completely stripped the interior out today, just can't seem to undo the seatbelt top bolts! Going to take the dash out soon :?

Looks really good! I really miss those wheels sometime, especially when I see how good they look on yours!

Mmm Porsche seats, they'll look great trimmed the same as the rest of the interior :notworthy:

Yes, I can't wait to get tem trimmed. They go in on October 26th, along with the rear seats and roof lining. Also bought some headrest screens which I will be attempting to fit in the porsch seats this week!

Well, the screens could not be fit due to the metal in the seats being too close to the rear of the seat. So, I have given up on that idea.

On the plus side, my porsche seats have been fitted and I can reach the pedals perfectly (as I am a bit of a short arse).

I have also sprayed my dash black. I could have just fitted a black one, but mine is fit perfect with no squeeks or rattles. I have also colour coded some trim bits.

The seats go to get retrimmed in 2 weeks and I will post pics up once they are done.

Well, I took my interior to be retrimmed on monday. Should only take a few weeks.

In the mean time the interior is stripped out and I am touching up on a few bits and bobs.

Only just seen this thread.

Not a fan of 'purple' but your car looks great! Inspiration to put my 'progress' on here!

I have a question about the interior. How much did your retrim cost? I am looking at a similar idea (not pink though! 8) ) and was going to dip my foot in for rough estimates.

How can you not be keen on purple/ blackberry!!

To be honest I think this guy quoted me wrong as he is really cheap! Everywhere I went quoted around the £2000 mark for just seats and door cards, then an additional £400 for the roof lining. If you are serious about it give Chris at Trimmingtonic a ring. He specialises in camper vans but will also do watercools. 01282605112

Totally! I've just read all this thread, and blackberry has to be my favourite OEM colour of them all :luvlove: Its pretty high on the short list of colours to do the V8 :)

Love what you've done with the car :thumbleft:

blackberry corrado's look very nice indeed.

i would be doing the same as you if i could stop throwing money at the damn thing to stay on the road :?

i keep thinking whats the point if there's not many more miles left in the engine but yours has done a few more than mine (a bit of inspiration)

Thankyou!

The way I look at it, it is still running great and as long as I keep the cambelt and water pump healthy hopefully not toomuch will go wrong. If is does go wrong, then I can just sell the bits that are alright and I might miss the next show season with having to save some money to get a different engine. But, I do hope that doesn't happen!! :D

Wel, picked the interior up and I am really chuffed with it. Started fitting it today. Got the roof linning, sunroof lining, pillars, rear cards and seats in. Just in the process of fitting Audioscape pods to the front cards before fitting the cards.

A little pic of so far.....

Thankyou! They are tombstones, well, the deep bolstered version!

Here are a few more pics of the door card/audioscape trial fitting. Just before I broke my sunroof!
