WigsVR6 0 Posted February 19, 2009 Hi I noticed a bead of engine oil on the roof of my car. Does anyone know of any tips of how to remove it safely before I make a pigs ear of doing it myself. Thanks
WigsVR6 0 Posted February 20, 2009 I was in a rush posting this. The oil is heavy and black looks like old oil from a diesel engine. I am worried about scratching my paintwork if I remove it. So far Ive just dabbed it away with a clean cloth.
Critical_Mass 10 Posted February 20, 2009 Have you tried some hot water and a decent car cleaner?

WigsVR6 0 Posted February 21, 2009 Thanks for the response guys wd40 did the trick followed by a wash with a sponge ive never used before so i wouldnt contaminate the rest of the paintwork with the oil. :D
