Ice White Socks 0 Posted December 27, 2003 Where is it? Bentley shows it as a four pin socket apparently located under the gear gaitor? My mate down the pub says that '95 VR6 corrados had a new style sixteen pin socket :? is this true- and if so where is it?? Cheers for your help (again  ) Mike
Joe M 0 Posted December 28, 2003 Its in the same place, under the gear gator. I think its only the later coilpack C's that have the new style connector.

CORRADO4LIFE 0 Posted December 29, 2003 Ice White, have you got vag com on a lap top? If so where did you get it from and how much? And what type of a dongle are you using to connect to the port?

Not so matey..... mine is a 1993 Coil pack VR6 and has the old 2*2 connector ..... In general its 1994 onwards that has the newer OBD2 plug. Ice White Socks 0 Posted December 29, 2003 corrado4life- I haven't got VAGCOM- a mate brought it round for me to use. He actually used a palmheld computer which is so small you could mount it in the cubby hole and have it wired in to the port all the time!! I didn't get much time to play around with it but it looks like a very impressive piece of kit. I think it costs about $120 from america plus another $40 or so for the cable.
