Where to buy Brakes

Recommended Posts

hi

i ordered some 4 pot ApRacing calipers and a rear disc conversion from 'Godspeed Motorsport' in december last year.

well they haven't turned up and im now getting a refund leaving me 4 months behind on my project

Heres the question:

Where can i buy 4 pot ApRacing calipers from?

Can someone recommend a place that is reliable and that will deliver the goods. i dont want to this order to go wrong again

also does anybody know a place to get the rear conversion kits as well? i was going for 300mm disks instead of the normal 288(overkill i know but i wanted it to look even)

thanks

you probably cant adjust the brake bias valve enough to compensate. 280s at the rear are fine by all accounts and IMHP make the car look 'more' balanced having a slightly smaller disc than at the front.

The rears won't lock up, that's what the ABS is for.

I got my MK3 Golf 330mm x 28 kit from Julian at www.balancemotorsport.co.uk

He's a sound guy, won't let you down.

Be aware the lead time for a 'kit' can be as much as 4 weeks, especially over summer when the whole AP factory take annual leave :cuckoo:
