Henny 0 Posted May 20, 2009 I didnt really notice it when I bought, but Ive always noticed it being different from the rest, not seeing a aqua blue pearl before I had no comparison :? thought it was pearlescent  Erm, I think that you're missing something here... It's called Aqua Blue PEARL 'cos it IS a pearlescent colour and DOES flick between light blue, through dark blue to almost purple depending on how the light is catching it... However, the bonnet and roof on that car DO look like they're a totally different colour and look WAY darker than ABP...

Kempy 0 Posted May 20, 2009 I got the car from a family owned vw 'specialist' garage in Tintern. I think at some point they had it sprayed but they got no excuse or they just bought a bonnet thinking it was ABP
stevef182 0 Posted May 20, 2009 at some angles mine looks like that too..not on the roof though, (not that i have ever noticed) but in the sun and from some angles the bonnet can look a completely different colour..but to be honest i have always kinda liked it..would do my head in though if it was like that on any other panel..symetry and all that! davebirl 0 Posted May 21, 2009 I have had 2 Aqua blue Corrado and some panels "do" look a different shade of blue depending on the light. Its to be expected.
