fla 9 Posted May 13, 2009 Prety much every car has them but short of repainting every so often has anyone used anything like a sill protector to cover and protect the door sill - the part most external on the frame as you enter the car, and visible when the door is shut? I'll post some pics of mine later, it looks terrible.
KipVR 1 Posted May 13, 2009 How about the clear protection film perhaps?
Jim 2 Posted May 13, 2009 All of my Corrado's have suffered badly from this. There has to be a market for some way of protecting this paint! Agreed on some kind of custom shaped Laminex perhaps..?
raddovr6 0 Posted May 13, 2009 Mine looks bad, it goes down to the sill. It's all from the previous owner not being carefull with the seat belt. It will all be sorted when I get a respray done. It might be worth looking into getting the stone chip protection film, to stop it happening again.
Neil VR6 0 Posted May 13, 2009 I had mine resprayed and there are already chips in the new paint where careless garages scuffed it with their feet :( Copter Tape is very good though: http://www.justridingalong.com/shop.php ... product=73 I use it on my MTB to prevent scuffs and chips. Some ski hire places also put it on the tops of hire skis to keep them looking presentable
